It doesn't matter how long I've been doing photography, I still get that nervous feeling the day of a shoot. Mike says it's good for me...that it helps keep me on my game.
A couple of weeks ago wedding season officially kicked off for me and the butterflies have yet to leave! It's been a constant steady stream of work and creativity and I totally love it. I love the rush, I love the emotion, I love the creativity, I love the happiness that surrounds the day. I love it all and it solidifies my feelings as to why I photograph -- to capture the connection between people and to embrace the emotion right along with them.

Photographing Kirsten and Matt on their wedding day with Liz of Liz Warnek Photography, was no exception. They were married at The Lake House Inn on Lake Nockamixon and though there was a steady rain the entire day, the location was absolutely amazing.

The Inn was engulfed with love and happiness and I was truly honored to be a part of their totally well planned, amazing day. Kirsten looked absolutely radiant and was totally chill the entire day. A way a bride should be when she's marrying the groom of her dreams.

The tent where their wedding/reception was held had an awe about it. Everything from the granite floors to the layered tent and chandeliers were simply amazing. No detail was overlooked.

I'm definitely glad that my wedding season kicked off with these two...it certainly makes me eager for the weddings that are still to come. Though I'm sure I'll still have nervous butterflies, it's great to know that I'll be capturing emotions like this and helping to create memories for generations to come.
Congrats, Kirsten and Matt!
